my husband had cheaper cycling shoes that by mile 40 were hurting the outside of his feet, specifically the small toe side. the cheaper shoes were hard on top and had no give. these shoes have more flexibility and come in wide sizes. he has ridden over 40 miles with no pain. he also loves the convenience of the dial laces, so much easier when and if he needs to adjust while riding.I was expecting the fit to be a little small, so I ordered a whole size up and I am very pleased with the fit.The shoes cinch well and the BOA system is really nice. they look awesome and are durable, I wish the entire bottom of he shoe was carbon, that would be a bit better, but the function and weight of the show is great. I am not disappointed.The BOA system needs to be improved. The lockdown system doesn’t fully tighten the entire upper. It seems to pull only in one area causing discomfort and lack of fit. The lacing setup is a bit weird in how it feeds and the use of fabric lace loops doesn’t allow for ease of sliding for the laces. If the shoe used the BOA plastic lace guides and a better lace orientation these shoes would be great!For reference I wear a size men’s 7->8 shoe (dress->running shoe) and purchased a 40.The shmexy shoes fit on my toes like Cinderella’s plastic latex shoes in the movies. When I cycle past all the retards quickly like a Ferrari overtaking donkeys it feels amazing, they cry, with their clipless shoes, but I don’t mind, since I’m basically invincible in these.Has a wide forefoot.I love these cycling shoes! I use them for indoor spinning. As a female with slightly wider feet, these have a roomier toebox and are very comfortable. The lacing system is great and works fast and easy. These feel more streamlined and less bulky than many other cycling shoes I tried on.Super comfortable shoe with quick lace closure giving you a personalized tight fight on your foot.Really well made and such a good looking show. I'm so happy with these.Great looking shoe with a solid design but beware- sizes are narrow and small.Based on size chart I ordeted 43 (I normally take a 41 size shoe).Length is JUST OK but quote narrow fit.I've had to buy shoe spreaders to try and widden them a bit.perfect fit size run seems to be true.
